2. TSSP Plan
● The TSSP plan has three main goals. First: Every grade will increase the number of students scoring at or about 80% on tier one CFA’s. Second: Teachers will use tier two instruction to prepare students for retakes to meet 80% proficiency. Third: 9th and 10th grade students will show growth and have individualized goals on the MAP test. All MAP tested students will increase the school median percentile by 2% on the MAP growth test.
● The funding from TSSP will assist in achieving the above mentioned goals by lowering class sizes to allow teachers to focus on direct tier one instruction and reteaching in tier two instruction. The funds will be used for one FTE each in math, language arts, science, and multi-language learners. It will also fund two literacy aides. If a class size does not need to be lowered, funding will be used to add paraprofessionals as additional support. In addition, funds will be used to support teacher’s professional development by paying for substitutes. Any additional funds will be used for school technology, classroom equipment or supplies, student social/emotional supports and student incentives.
● Approximate amount for TSSP is $409,000.00.
● Motion was made to approve the proposed TSSP Plan; seconded; approved unanimously. Attendees signed the TSSP Plan.
3. LAND Trust Plan
● The LAND Trust Plan has two goals, an academic goal and a climate goal.
● The academic goal is to increase the graduation rate by 1% from the 24 rate or reach 80%, whichever is higher. The LAND Trust will fund extra sections of math, English language arts, science and multi-language learners; hiring qualified teachers and support personnel to help lower class sizes. It will also fund paraprofessionals additional hours to support at risk students. Funding for academic preparation period (APP) and PLC team leadership stipends will provide academic support for tier two instruction.
● The climate goal is to achieve 91% average daily attendance rate and 85% APP attendance rate so everyone is Every Husky, Every Day! The LAND Trust fund will be used for an extra hall monitor, attendance tracker, and ML support.
● Approximate amount for LAND Trust is $412,000.00.
