Hillcrest IB Course Catalog
Hillcrest IB offers a diverse and well-balanced selection of courses that can be taken as part of the IB Diploma Program (DP), Career-related Program (CP), or individually as standalone classes.
A full DP or CP schedule is designed for students in the last two years of high school (11th and 12th grades). Students on a pre-IB DP or CP track typically take a combination of Honors or AP classes during 9th and 10th grade to prepare for the rigor of a full IB schedule. For example, 9th graders often take AP Human Geography, AP Biology, and/or AP Environmental Science, while 10th graders frequently enroll in AP U.S. Government & Politics, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and/or AP Calculus AB (depending on their math placement). You will work with Mr. Olsen to select courses that meet graduation requirements, align with your strengths and interests, and prepare you for the IB DP/CP.
