CTE Month:
February is Career & Technical Education month, and we are celebrating the value of giving students the tools to succeed in a career and at college. Check out the calendar of events just outside the Main Office, in the “B” hall and the STEM building.
To kick off CTE month, every Wednesday there will be 4 paper footballs with CTE facts on the back hung in the halls of the school. The 4 students who find these football pictures will win a prize. If you find a football, read the CTE fact on the back and take it to Mr. Wood in the Counseling Center or Mrs. Quirk in the Career Center, Room A137. Be listening during announcements for CTE Teacher Highlights and CTE trivia questions throughout February to win candy bars.
CTE Survey:
Hillcrest High Parents,
Please take a minute and complete the linked survey. It is to help us know how to improve our Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes. Each year the district receives federal funds from the “Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act” and how we can spend it depends on data we get from this and other surveys. If you have any questions, please contact me.
