Due to a new district policy, the east side doors are not to be used as an entrance. All students, visitors, and deliveries must enter on the west side of the building through the main office doors. The buzzer no longer functions. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Students, as the weather warms up, please be aware that the dress code still applies. Students out of dress code will be asked to go to the Attendance office. They will be given the option to change into a Hillcrest T-shirt (or shorts if applicable) or they may call home for an exchange of clothing. Students will not be permitted to return to class unless they are appropriately dressed.

We are Hillcrest

Congratulations, Mr. Leininger, on being named Hillcrest Teacher of the Year! Mr. L is always kind and goes above and beyond for our students. His peers and students nominated him for this award. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful science teacher at Hillcrest.
Congratulations to our Hillcrest Counseling Team. They were named this month’s USBE counseling team as the month! The Hillcrest High School Counseling team exemplifies the core principles of a comprehensive school counseling program. Serving a vibrant and diverse community, Hillcrest is home to a wide range of students, including refugees, newcomers, multilingual learners, and those in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The Hillcrest counseling team works tirelessly to ensure every student feels welcomed, supported emotionally, and prepared for success in both college and career. Despite facing the challenging emotional toll of several student losses this year, they have continued to provide unwavering support not only for the students but also for one another. Hillcrest’s principal, Brenda McCann, praises their dedication, saying, “They are awesome! Always willing to help and go the extra mile each day!”
