IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION: PLEASE READ
Dear Parents,
On February 2nd – 18th Course Selections will be open for students to be able to select classes for the 2021-22 school year. All materials and resources that students will need to make course selections are available on our website at https://hhs.canyonsdistrict.org/course-request-2/. On the website, students can select one of two options, in-person or online learning. Once students have selected their learning option, they can make course selections through the appropriate links. We suggest you start with Husky Fair and read through the power point grade presentations. After you have all of the information you will need to accurately register, the class choice links are available at the bottom of the page. Finally, there is a Frequently Asked Questions page at the bottom. In addition, HHS counselors will be presenting to students specific instructions on course selections in classes. If your questions are not answered here please call your counselor.

NO YEARBOOKS WILL BE SOLD AFTER JANUARY 31ST.

**FREE HUSKY BLANKET DRAWING
Join PTSA by Feb. 5th for a chance to win your free Husky Blanket.
All current PTSA members will be entered in each drawing. You can join online at hillcresthuskies.memberhub.store or fill out an envelope in the Main Office or Attendance office. Membership is $7. If you aren’t sure if your membership is current, email hhshuskiesptsa@gmail.com and ask.
Congratulations to teacher Jessika Jeppson, student Gavin Carr, and parent Kellie Tew who have won blankets in our previous drawings. Last drawing will be on Feb. 5th. Enter now to win!
**PTA Awards – Looking for nominations
Is there a teacher, admin, staff member, or volunteer you would like to recognize? Nominate them for a PTSA award. Nominations can be entered in the following categories: Outstanding Educator, Outstanding School Administrator, Outstanding Support Staff, Outstanding Volunteer. Nominees will be recognized at the Council PTA level and can move up to Region and State PTA. Nominations are due Feb. 8th. You can submit a nomination online through the Utah PTA website: https://www.utahpta.org/utah-pta-awards

**Virtual PTA Day at the Capitol
Tues. Feb. 16th, 2021 at 9:00 a.m – 12:00 noon General Session
12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Lunch with Legislators (breakout groups with local legislators)
PTA is the largest volunteer advocacy group for children in the nation. Find out what Utah PTA is doing to advocate for children in our state and learn how to work with our State Legislators. Utah PTA commissioners will present info on the bills that Utah PTA is following during the 2021 Utah Legislative Session. Meet with our local legislators where you will have a chance to give input and ask questions. Admission is FREE. Register at utahpta.org.
**PTSA Meeting next week
Start off the new year by being a part of your student’s educational experience in a new way.
The monthly Hillcrest PTSA meeting will be this Thurs., Feb. 11th at 1:00 p.m.

- Our new school website also provides translation services. When you access the website, at the top right, you will see a translate button. Please click that button and select the language you would like to translate to. This will translate all website information into the language selected.
