Parent-Teacher Conferences

Hillcrest Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd, and Tuesday, September 23rd. This is a great opportunity to discuss your student’s grades and classroom behavior with their teacher. 

  • Tuesday (Sept 22) will be virtual conferences from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Teachers will send out their appointment sign-up links and conference join links on ParentSquare. Spanish interpreters will be available virtually to join appointments. Please let the teacher know you will be needing an interpreter.
  • Wednesday (Sept 23) will be in-person conferences (3:30 pm- 7:00 pm). Teachers will be available in their rooms to meet with parents; no appointments are needed. A Spanish interpreter will be available on each floor to assist.

During parent-teacher conferences, we will also have flu vaccines available on both days. No appointment is needed. If you are insured, please bring your insurance card. Reduced-cost and no-cost flu vaccines will be available to uninsured individuals and families who are unable to pay.

PTA Reflections art program: This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” We will let you know the school deadline soon! Students may submit entries in the categories of Visual Arts, Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, and Music Composition. Somos Hillcrest

¡Familias, los invitamos a nuestra noche para la familia, “Somos Hillcrest”! 

Acompáñenos el 1 de octubre de 6:00 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. Para una noche dedicada a nuestras familias que hablan español. Tendremos información y recursos importantes para ayudarles a conocer mejor nuestros programas escolares, a apoyar a sus estudiantes y a conectarse con nuestra comunidad escolar.

We are a Community School!

We are partnering with Midvale Middle School to host a community wellness night on October 8th from 5:30 pm- 7:00 pm at Midvale Middle School (4852 S. Pioneer St., Midvale). We will have community resources, prevention health screenings, free haircuts, and free Chick-fil-A sandwiches!

Canyons Family Center

The Canyons Family Center provides a spectrum of services including individual counseling, student-support groups, and parent-education classes. Classes are offered on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pm at Mount Jordan Middle School (9351 S. Mountaineer Lane, Sandy). 

Crisis counseling is available every second Wednesday of the month for immediate, confidential support. Mental health screener nights are available by appointment. Please see the flyer below for registration and dates.

  • Healing Conversations (Suicide prevention offered 3 times this year)
