The seal is a designation by Utah signaling a student has demonstrated proficiency in English and a world language. Students are encouraged to apply their junior year but all school juniors and seniors who are proficient in English and a world language are eligible to apply for the seal starting Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. The application window closes on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. The application is

completed online at: https://sealofbiliteracy.canyonsdistrict.org.

Common Sense Media

Only 37% of parents whose teens have used generative AI actually knew that their child was using these tools. Common Sense Media’s Parent’s Ultimate Guide to AI offers tips on what AI is, how to talk about it, and how to help kids use it responsibly.
