Hillcrest Community Cultural Night
The annual Hillcrest Community Cultural Night is on April 23rd from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. There will be performances, free food trucks, free henna, and booths!
Prom
Hillcrest’s annual prom is on May 9th from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm at the Utah Capitol. Prom is open to all grades. Tickets are $15 for singles and $30 for couples. Click HERE for tickets.
LIA Car Show
LIA will be hosting a car show on May 1st from 6 pm-10 pm. The entry fee is $3. See the QR code and flyer below for more information.
Sterling Scholars
Congratulations on Hillcrest Sterling Scholars and Runners up!
- Ella Astudillo—Region winner in English! ($2500 scholarship)
- Wilson St. Martin—Region runner-up in Math ($1000 scholarship)
- Senya Walker—Region runner-up in Science ($1000 scholarship)
- Om Sanghvi—winner of the Philo T. Farnsworth award ($1000)—He was chosen out of 4 other Sterling Scholars to receive this award. It is awarded to a student who excels in technology, science, and innovation and helps others. It is awarded in the spirit of the contributions that Philo T. Farnsworth made.
- Fiona Chen—Speech, Debate, Theatre Arts—she was recognized with 10 other students for the Gail Miller Service award.
Job Fair
Hillcrest will be hosting a Job Fair on Tuesday, April 28th. Students may mingle with vendors during their individual lunches.
Companies from around the community will be present to offer applications and information about their companies.
Hillcrest Job Fair will take place on the west patio, weather permitting, from 11AM-1PM. Questions or interest in attending as a business, contact Cher Burbank cher.burbank@canyonsdistrict.org
