Digital Citizenship
Talking to kids about online privacy is like talking to them about not opening the front door to strangers. Help them set strong passwords and use privacy settings. When we explain what personal information is OK to share and whom to trust, we protect them against grooming, AI companions, and other tricky situations. And even when new apps pop up and platform settings change, the human skills remain the same. Critical thinking and knowing how to assess risks—and when to get a trusted adult—is the best way to stay safe and ahead of the game.
Job Fair
Hillcrest will be hosting a Job Fair on Tuesday, April 28th. Students may mingle with vendors during their individual lunches.
Companies from around the community will be present to offer applications and information about their companies.
Hillcrest Job Fair will take place on the west patio, weather permitting, from 11AM-1PM. Questions or interest in attending as a business, contact Cher Burbank cher.burbank@canyonsdistrict.org
MotorFest
MotorFest is on April 22, B day during school. Permission forms are found in B133 with the Auto teacher, Mr. Anderson, or in the library, C202 E, with Ms. Burbank. If you like car shows, tinkering, painting, or even welding, come check out MotorFest 2026 at SLCC.
Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are invited, lunch is provided, and you will miss App, 6th, and part of 7th.
First-come, first-served, up to 30 can come.
Be FAST and FERIOUS if you want to go. Brought to you by Canyons Work-Based Learning.
