Principals Message: Daily Announcements
We are excited to announce we are live streaming our announcements here at Hillcrest High School every day. We invite our community to watch our announcements. See below for how to do this. We will also use this website to live stream games this year so we welcome you to get familiar with this website.
We will be using HillcrestTv.com (https://hillcresttv.com/) to centralize all streaming for the school.
There are 2 ways to access live events: morning announcements will start at 9:15 on the dot every morning.
- Stream directly from HillcrestTv.com
- Search for https://hillcresttv.com/ in your browser
- Scroll down to Now Playing: HHS Live Stream.
The Livestream you are planning to watch should be the title of the video in the top left-hand corner.
4. Click the play button in the middle of the video. When this happens, you should be redirected to a screen that looks like this with a countdown timer at the bottom that is actively counting towards zero.
Make sure that you turn up the volume on your computer device and speakers in your classroom to make sure the video will have the accompanying audio.
- Stream the videos from Youtube
- Scroll down to the Live Stream Schedule on the website and click on the Youtube Link that corresponds with the event you want to watch:
**For those of you who are struggling to access the video because the Youtube links aren’t loading up, please watch this video for tips on how to reset your Chrome settings to allow Youtube videos to be played: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRWijH8KNFU&ab_channel=TechJunkie**
If you want to access the morning announcements after they are finished being recorded, there are two ways to access the videos:
- Click on the “Video Archive” tab at the top of the menu on the website (https://hillcresttv.com/video-archive).
- To find the video you want to watch, click on the symbol in the top right corner of the video (3 lines with a play button) and scroll down to the video you want to watch.

Parking Update:
We will have 2 parking lots (Faculty and Student). The faculty parking lot is located in the front of the school. The student parking lot is located in the rear of the school. Please drive slow as you are coming into the school lots. The only access to Hillcrest High School is off of 9th East. We are working on creating another access point into the high school off of 7th East. We are hoping to be done with this in the next week or so, but our school administration will keep you posted.
Parents you can pick up and drop off in front of the Main Gym and the Main entrance of the school. Be advised that school buses will be dropping students off from 6:55am-7:05am and they will have priority. You CANNOT park on the curbs. They are painted red and you can be ticketed. When you park on the curb you block our buses from being able to get in and get out effectively and efficiently. Also, this will be a right-in right-out enter and exit. There will be no left turn on 9th east out of the parking lot. Right only. (from main entrance)

https://hhs.canyonsdistrict.org/ Once there, go to “School Info” drop down menu and select “School Calendar”. It will then open our school calendar.
- Our new school website also provides translation services. When you access the website, at the top right, you will see a translate button. Please click that button and select the language you would like to translate to. This will translate all website information into the language selected.
