Important HHS Info

Second-semester fees will be loaded on Monday, February 2nd, at 7:30 a.m. Please let your students know they can log in to their Skyward account at that time to submit payment.

Course Request Selection for the 2026-2027 School Year

Attention all parents of students planning to attend Hillcrest High School during the 2026-2027 school year. It is that time of year when students will be choosing classes for the 2026 – 2027 school year. Course request selection will open in Skyward on Monday, February 2nd, at 8:00 am. Please note that counselors will be in all English classrooms to help students select courses for next year and help you maneuver the course selection process. Counselors will be in the 11th-grade English classes on February 2nd and 3rd; in the 10th-grade English classes on February 4th and 5th; and, finally, in the 9th-grade English classes on February 10th and 11th. Additionally, counselors will be in classrooms at Union Middle School and Albion Middle School on Tuesday, February 17th, and Midvale Middle School on Wednesday, February 18th, to help 8th-grade students with their course selection. IMPORTANT: The course selection process will close on Friday, February 20th at 11:59 pm ALL SO COURSES MUST BE SELECTED BY THIS TIME. Please see the Counseling Center if you have any questions. Additional information, PowerPoints, and instructions will be added to our website on January 30th, 2026.

Sweethearts Dance

College Day for Juniors

On February 9th, from 12:00 pm to 2:20 pm, representatives from all of Utah’s colleges and universities will be at Hillcrest to meet with 11th graders. College activities will be for Juniors only. Juniors will be called down from the auditorium during 3rd period. 

Seal of Biliteracy Reminders

If you applied to take the Seal of Bi Literacy test, using the Avant test, here is a link for a study guide.

To purchase your ad online, follow the instructions listed below. Jostens is responsible for our school’s yearbook ad sales. Please do not contact or send materials to the school. Please also consider our school’s ad content guidelines below during the creation of your ad online. All orders must be placed by 2/06/2026.

Our Hillcrest Free Market provides our students with food, clothing, laundry facilities, showers, and other essential needs. If you are experiencing a higher need this season, families can reach out to Elizabeth Demke for food or other assistance: 385-351-4294.

Dental Resources:

  • Thursday, February 6th, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at Fortis College (3949 S Ste. 150, SLC, UT 84107). Register for an appointment by calling 801-713-4200. Appointments are available for children aged 1-17. The appointment includes a dental screening, cleaning, fluoride treatments, and sealants, as needed. Patients will receive a dental goodie bag. 
  • Friday, February 13th, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Roseman Dental (10894 S River Front Pkwy, South Jordan, UT). Walk-in event for children 18 years and under. Appointment includes a free dental screening and cleaning. Children will also receive a voucher for a free comprehensive exam, x-rays, sealants, and up to $100 in additional dental care.
