Jr. Prom

On March 13th, 2020 schools across Utah were closed to in person learning and were required to go virtual.  On March 13th of 2021 HHS held its junior prom dance.  It was so rejuvenating to have students back doing “kid stuff” and having fun.  As I looked out over the crowd of young people dancing and enjoying life, I could not help but feel that an ounce of normalcy may cure tons of mental strife.  I want to thank parents for doing such a good job supporting their beloved young people during these hard times.  As COVID requirements loosen up, we are excited for students to return to the activities at the school that makes high school such a grand experience.

2021 DECA State Career Conference:

Congratulations to the following students competed at the 2021 DECA State Career Conference and placed: 

• Joyce Lin placed in the top 10 in Restaurant and Food Service Management and earned 3rd in Quick Service Restaurant Management. 
• Rushmeen Tariq took 3rd in Business Finance. 
• Helen Raty and Shivani Srinvasan made the top 10 in Sports and Entertainment Marketing. 
• Puja Iyer and Victoria To placed 5th in Business Law and Ethics and 1st in the Franchise Business Plan. 
• Anya Tiwari made the top 10 in Hotel and Lodging Management. 
• Swetha Iyer placed 6th in Human Resource Management. 
• The team of Anika Balakrishnan and Helen Raty placed 1st in Entrepreneurship.

***NEW HUSKY BLANKETS FOR SALE

We have new Husky blankets available this year. Blankets are 60” x 80” and made of feather-soft plush. Deluxe blankets are double-layered with the new Husky logo on the front and a repeating pattern on the back and edged with a black binding. Regular blankets are a single layer with the new logo and a hemmed edge.

Deluxe blankets are $65 and Regular blankets are $55.

Blankets can be purchased online at https://hillcresthuskies.memberhub.store/ and picked up in the main office or they can be purchased in the Main Office during office hours.
