Hillcrest Reminder

Class Fees
Class fees for the second semester have been added to your student’s skyward. Please pay fees on skyward or in the main office.

Doors
Attention parents and students, Hillcrest High School side doors are locked during school hours after the tardy bell has rung. Students, please ensure you are arriving to class on time. If you do not arrive on time and doors are locked, go to the main office to check-in. 

Course Request Selection for the 2025 -2026 School Year

Attention all parents of students planning to attend Hillcrest High School during the 2025-2026. It is that time of year when students will be choosing classes for the 2025-2026 school year. Course request selection will open in Skyward on Tuesday February 3rd at 8:00 am. However, Counselors will be in all English classrooms to help students select courses for next year and help you maneuver the course selection process. Counselors will be in the 11th grade English classes on February 3rd and 4th; in 10th grade English classes on February 5th and 6th; and finally, in 9th grade English classes on February 7th and 10th. Additionally, counselors will be in classrooms at Midvale Middle School and Union Middle School on Wednesday, February 11th and Albion Middle School on February 12th to help 8th grade students with their course selection.  Note that the course selection process will close on Thursday February 18that 11:59 pm so all courses must be selected by that date. Please see the Counseling Center if you have any questions. Additional information, PowerPoints and instructions will be added to our website on January 31st.

February is Career & Technical Education month, and we are celebrating the value of giving students the tools to succeed and be career and college-ready.  This year’s theme is CTE: Education Elevated.

Senior BabyAds for Yearbook

Baby Ads Deadline:  Due December 6th

Dear Parent or Student,

Yearbook Recognition Ads are the perfect way to commemorate achievements and celebrate milestones. In addition, revenues from Recognition Ads help our school create a better yearbook. To purchase your ad online, follow the instructions listed below. Jostens is responsible for our school’s yearbook ad sales. Please do not contact or send materials to the school. Please also consider our school’s ad content guidelines below during the creation of your ad online. All orders must be placed by 12/06/2024.

National Honor Society Tutoring

NHS will be offering tutoring to HHS students during APP for all subject areas. Please scan the QR code below to request a tutor. NHS is also hosting a winter drive to collect new blankets and canned goods from January 27 – February 28. Items can be dropped off in the main office. Please see the flyer below.

HOSA Fundraiser

HOSA is a committed group of students who strive to raise awareness and educate others about blood cancers. Our goal is to inform and support our community while encouraging action in the fight against these diseases. Join us at the Costa Vida in Bluffdale on Tuesday, February 18, 20% of profits go towards the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. 

SheTech

SheTech is a unique experience for hands-on STEM experience for high school girls. Hillcrest will be taking students on Tuesday, February 25th. To register for the event, please click HERE. If you have any questions, please talk to Ms. Burbank in the counseling center. 

PTSA

Feed the Teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences. PTSA is providing a meal for the faculty and staff on Tues Feb 25th before conferences. Please sign up if you can being CHILI or SOUP, SALAD, Breadsticks, sour cream, or shredded cheese. Food can be dropped off on Tues 25th anytime before 1:15 to the office. Please sign up to help feed our hungry teachers before their long evening of parent conferences!
