Principal’s Message:
Utah Aspire Testing:
Next week, April 19-22, 9th and 10th grade students will be taking the ASPIRE tests in their Math, English, Science and Social Studies classes. Due to the pandemic, ASPIRE testing was not conducted last year. ASPIRE replaced SAGE testing in 2019, and was designed by ACT and Pearson, Inc. with the goal of providing students a chance to practice taking timed tests in preparation for the ACT college-entrance exam. Utah Aspire Plus scores are predictive of a student’s performance on the ACT. Please make a special effort to ensure your child arrives on time that day, is well-rested, and ready to do his or her best on the exam. Thank you for your attention, and for partnering with us in the education of your child.
9th and 10th grade students who are taking classes online during the 2020-2021 school year are invited to come to school on Friday April 23rd or Friday April 30thstarting at 8:00 AM to take the ASPIRE test. Testing will be conducted in B-106, and students should allow approximately 4 hours to complete all four tests.
